License

1. Overview

This license governs the use of content and source code provided by mtverse. Different license terms apply depending on the type of content and your subscription plan. By using mtverse, you agree to abide by these license terms.

2. AI Prompts

All AI prompts published on mtverse are free to use for both personal and commercial purposes. You may:

• Copy, modify, and adapt prompts for any purpose
• Use prompts with any AI tool or service (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Flux, etc.)
• Use prompt outputs in personal, client, or commercial projects
• Share prompts with others (attribution appreciated but not required)

You may not claim ownership of the original prompt formulations or resell access to the prompt collection as a competing product.

3. Free UI Components

Free-tier UI components are provided under a permissive license that allows:

• Use in personal projects and client deliverables
• Modification and customization for your specific needs
• Distribution as part of a larger project or application

Attribution is appreciated but not required. You may not resell the component code as a standalone product or component library.

4. Pro Plan License

With a Pro plan purchase, you receive a license that includes:

• All Free tier rights
• Full source code access for Free + Advanced UI components
• Use in unlimited personal and client projects
• Lifetime updates for the components included at time of purchase

The Pro plan does not include commercial redistribution rights or SaaS end-product rights. See the Business and Extended plans for these use cases.

5. Business Plan License

The Business plan extends the Pro license with additional rights:

• All Pro plan rights
• Commercial use including use in products sold to end users
• Figma/design source files where available
• Admin features for team management
• Up to 5 team seats

Commercial use means you can use components in products you sell to customers, as long as the components are part of a larger application and not resold as a component library.

6. Extended Plan License

The Extended plan provides the broadest license:

• All Business plan rights
• Full source code for Free + Advanced + Extended UI components
• SaaS end-product rights — use in applications you sell as a service
• Unlimited team seats
• 24 months of priority support

SaaS end-product rights mean you can build and sell a software-as-a-service product that incorporates our components. You may not resell the components themselves as a competing product.

7. Restrictions

Regardless of your plan, the following restrictions apply to all content:

• You may not redistribute or resell mtverse components as a standalone component library
• You may not use the mtverse name, logo, or brand identity without written permission
• You may not remove or alter any copyright notices in the source code
• You may not sublicense the source code to third parties

8. Open Source Dependencies

mtverse UI components are built on open-source libraries including React, shadcn/ui (MIT license), Radix UI (MIT license), and Tailwind CSS (MIT license). These dependencies retain their original open-source licenses and are not covered by the mtverse commercial license. You must comply with the license terms of these upstream dependencies.

9. License Duration

All paid licenses are perpetual — you pay once and the license does not expire. You retain the right to use the version of the components available at the time of your purchase indefinitely. Lifetime updates are included for the tier you purchased.
